Sensitive Builders don't burn in the oven like normal building gels might.
Which makes it the perfect option for really thin or sensitive nails!
Sensitive Builders are medium thick in texture. They smooth out beautifully on their own, without spreading easily on cuticles.
Sensitive Builder can be used to strengthen natural nails or for short extensions. The product requires a Bluesky gel base varnish.
Sensitive Builders are soak off gels, meaning they can be removed by soaking in acetone.
1. Push the cuticles off the nail and trim dry skin with cuticle clippers or scissors if necessary.
2. Shape the nail tip and lightly roughen the nail surface using a block or buffer file. Avoid excessive filing of the nail.
3. Clean the nail surface with Bluesky's ready-to-use cleaning pads or cleanser liquid and lint-free pads.
4. Apply a coat of gel base polish starting from the centre of the nail and pushing the brush towards the cuticle edge. Press the brush gently to spread the bristles towards the edges of the nail and pull the brush towards the free tip. Also paint the tip of the nail if the length is sufficient. Cure with UV lamp for 2 min or LED lamp for 30-60 s.
5. Mix the product before use and roll the excess polish into the inner neck of the bottle. Apply a thin layer of gel on the nail, starting from the middle of the nail and pushing the brush towards the cuticle. Press the brush gently to spread the bristles towards the edge of the nail and pull the brush towards the free tip of the nail. This is called the slip layer, which helps the gel to smooth out across the nail. Do not harden the slip layer.
6. Take a larger amount of gel and sweep it into the center of the nail, then gently move the paste around with a brush. You can also use a thin decorating brush to help.
If you find it difficult to control the paste, you can apply several layers. Cure with UV lamp for 2 min or LED lamp for 60 s.
7. Wipe the surface of the gel with Cleanser, file the nail into shape and smooth the surface. The filing can be finished using a buffer or block file, then clean the nail surface again.
8. If you wish, you can now add colour polish and decorations to the nail. Then apply a coat of gel top coat using the same technique as the base coat. Cure UV for 2 min or LED for 30-60 s. No-wipe topcoat does not need to be wiped off after curing.
9. Moisten skin with cuticle oil and you are done!
Notes:
- Avoid holding products in front of a UV/LED lamp as products will cure and get ruined. UV rays from the sun will also cure the products, so do not apply varnishes in front of a window or outside, even in cloudy weather.
- If bright streaks appear in the varnish, the pigment in the product has separated from the varnish and the bottle needs to be stirred well in this case.
- After curing gel varnishes, the surface will remain tacky so that the gel layers stick together. The varnish has therefore cured correctly despite the sticky surface. If contaminants adhere to the sticky surface, they can be removed by using cleanser-cleaning cloths.
