1. Push the cuticles off the nail and if desired, trim the dry skin with cuticle cutters or scissors.
2. Shape the tip of the nail and lightly roughen the nail surface with a block or buffer file.
3. Clean the nail surface with a cleanser.
4. Apply the gel polish to the nail, starting in the middle of the nail and pushing the brush towards the cuticle line. Press the brush gently and apply the polish towards the free tip of the nail. If the nail is long enough, apply the varnish to the tip of the nail as well. Cure with UV lamp for 2 min or LED lamp for 60 s.
Please note that after curing gel polishes, the surface should remain tacky, i.e. the polish has cured correctly despite the tacky surface.
5. Shake the colour polish well before use and roll the excess polish into the inner neck of the bottle. To apply the colour evenly, hold the brush with its flat tip and make light strokes towards the tip of the nail. Cure with a UV lamp for 2 min or with an LED lamp for 60 s.
6. Apply a second coat of varnish using the same technique as before and cure with the lamp. If necessary, you can also apply a third coat.
7. Apply the gel top coat to the nail as above and cure with a lamp. The normal gel polish leaves a sticky surface which must be wiped off with a cleanser. No Wipe topcoat does not need to be wiped off after curing.
8. Rub in the cuticle oil and you're done!
Notes:
Avoid holding products in front of a UV/LED lamp as the products will harden and go bad. UV rays from the sun will also cure the products, so do not apply varnishes in front of a window or outside, even in cloudy weather.
If bright streaks appear in the varnish, the pigment in the product has separated from the varnish and the bottle needs to be stirred well in this case.
After curing gel varnishes, the surface remains tacky to allow the gel layers to adhere to each other. The varnish has therefore cured correctly despite the sticky surface. If contaminants adhere to the sticky surface, they can be removed by using cleanser-cleaning cloths.
