Get every manicure or pedicure right with Bluesky base coat. Our product formula binds effectively with the natural nail to provide adhesion. This enables to gel polish to stick to the nail for a longer-lasting gel manicure.
UV/LED Gel Polish
1. Push back the cuticles and trim away excess dead skin if necessary using BLUESKY’s cuticle pusher and cuticle nippers.
2. Shape the natural nail using BLUESKY's 100/180 grit nail file and remove the surface shine using BLUESKY’s block or buffer file.
3. Cleanse the nail surface with BLUESKY’s Cleanser Wipes.
4. Paint a thin layer of BLUESKY’s gel base coat on the nail, starting from the middle pushing the brush towards the cuticles. Apply light pressure to fan out the bristles towards the edges of the nail and pull the brush back towards the tip of the nail. If you have a longer nail, cap the edge with the gel polish. Cure UV 2 min or LED 30-60sec.
5. Shake your colour polish thoroughly before use and swirl the excess polish back inside the bottle. Apply a thin layer on the nail starting from the middle pushing up towards the cuticles. Apply light pressure to fan out the bristles and pull the brush back towards the tip of the nail. Take a small drop of polish onto the brush and apply it with quick strokes while holding your brush flat to the nail. If you have a longer nail, cap the edge with the gel polish. Cure UV 2 min or LED 30-60sec.
6. Apply a second coat of colour on the nail. Apply a thin layer on the nail starting from the middle pushing up towards the cuticles. Apply light pressure to fan out the bristles and pull the brush back towards the tip of the nail. Take a small drop of polish onto the brush and apply it with quick strokes while holding your brush flat to the nail. If you have a longer nail, cap the edge with the gel polish. Cure UV 2 min or LED 30-60sec. With the right technique the polish should be fully opaque with 2 coats. You can add a 3rd coat if you feel it is necessary.
7. Apply a thin layer of BLUESKY No-Wipe Gel Top Coat to the nail. Apply a thin layer on the nail starting from the middle pushing up towards the cuticles. Apply light pressure to fan out the bristles and pull the brush back towards the tip of the nail. No-Wipe Top Coat does not need to be wiped after curing.
8. Apply cuticle oil and you’re done!
