Black Horse Premium Cartivet + msm 900 g is a complementary feed for horses that maintains normal joint mobility. This product is suitable for all horses, but it is especially designed for horses that are under heavy strain or aging. Exercise is important for joints because it helps preserve the structural and mechanical properties of articular cartilage.
Cartivet contains glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, which are the building blocks of cartilage tissue. Getting glucosamine from food can increase the body's own glucan production. It is believed that chondroitin sulfate has a positive effect on the metabolism of cartilage cells. MSM provides the body with sulfur, which is found in the structural proteins of joints and cartilage. Sulfur is also obtained from sulfur-containing amino acids (methionine). Collagen is a structural protein of connective tissue (cartilage and tendons) and skeleton.
Cartivet + msm can be used for all horses and ponies, but it is especially suitable for horses under heavy stress whose joints and articular cartilage are under heavy strain and for senior horses with limited joint movement (stiffness).
