The Beurer TL 35 bright light lamp impresses with its innovative light technology, which ensures even light distribution. Thanks to its removable base, the lamp is particularly space-saving and a real eye-catcher in any home.
With daylight hours decreasing significantly in autumn and winter and people spending more time indoors, the effects of light deprivation can manifest as seasonal affective disorder. The symptoms of seasonal affective disorder can manifest in many ways, such as mood swings, lack of energy, sleepiness, loss of appetite, and difficulty concentrating.
Beurer bright light devices are designed to compensate for the symptoms caused by a lack of daylight in particular. Bright light devices simulate the intensity of 10,000 lux of daylight, which normal lighting cannot provide. Beurer bright light devices are certified medical devices.
Beurer bright light devices are recommended for daily use between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. during the darkest time of the year. Just 30 to 60 minutes of daily bright light therapy can help you cope and alleviate the symptoms of seasonal affective disorder. Bright light therapy is more effective the earlier in the morning it is started. For this reason, bright light therapy is started shortly after waking up, usually between 6 and 10 a.m. However, due to differences in circadian rhythms, bright light therapy at other times of the day may also be beneficial. You can use the bright light device as often as you like, but from a treatment perspective, the best results are achieved when the device is used for at least two hours every day.
