Indication/clinical benefit
Very many insect stings and bites result in pain and swelling at the site of the sting or bite. Often these stings and bites cause severe itching. Insect sting reliever effectively relieves the discomfort caused by insect stings and bites by means of heat. Toxic substances that may cause itching, swelling and inflammation are usually composed of protein molecules. Above a certain temperature threshold, the molecular structure of proteins changes so that the protein ceases to act. Itching is reduced, symptoms improve and the healing of the injection or bite often feels more comfortable.
