Benelli Super Black Eagle 3-series Comfortech3 blocked shotgun with supermagnum 26″ interchoke (interchangeable breech) barrel. Comes standard with 5 internal/external tapered suppressors. The SBE 3 Comfortech is suitable for all shotgun hunting. The lower part of the breech frame is made of ERGAL and the upper part, the cover, is made of special steel and is integrally connected to the barrel. The barrel is made 100% in Italy from Italian nickel-chromium-molybdenum special steel and both the barrel and the suppressors are cold-finished (Crio). The total length of the suppressors is 9cm. The outer surface of the barrel is treated with the electrolytic Benelli Surface Treatment (BE*ST). The BE*S.T. surface treatment ensures complete protection against corrosion and wear. The gun rail is a removable/replaceable carbon fibre rail. The front grain of the rail is a long red fibre grain and the rail also has an intermediate grain. The magazine length is 89mm (3 1/2″) and the gun is suitable for standard, magnum and supermagnum cartridges. The SBE3 model has screw holes on top of the bolt body, making it very easy to install the optional Picatinny rail. The model's new Comfortech3 buttstock is patented by Benelli and designed to reduce recoil. The Comfortech3 support is made of durable fibreglass reinforced plastic (Rilsan). The stock has thirteen synthetic recoil absorbing "boomerangs" running through the butt. Thanks to a new polyurethane rear plate developed by Benelli, a new softer Comptech cheekpiece and the Comfortech support, recoil has been reduced by tens of percent. Barrel rise has also been significantly reduced, making it quicker to refocus the gun. The forend and forend plug have been redesigned and the ergonomics of the forend ensure an optimal and balanced grip. The trigger guard of the SBE 3 model has been redesigned for easy use. The gun has a two-piece spring-loaded cartridge holder plate, which makes it easier to feed cartridges into the magazine and to remove them from the magazine (from below), which is considerably easier and more user-friendly than was the case with the SBEII model. The Easy Locking bolt is familiar from the Raffaello-13 series and will rotate all the way even if the bolt is closed quietly by hand. The gun is therefore always ready to fire. The cocking lever and the lock button are larger than on the SBEII model. Rear drop is adjustable by means of the standard rear adjustment pieces to 55-69 (A, B, C and D pieces) millimetres from the line of sight and the bend can be adjusted to suit either right or left hand shooters. The standard base plate of the Takatuki is 2.5cm thick. With the standard rear plate fitted, the gun has a length of pull of 365mm. Optional longer (+1cm) and shorter (-1cm) rear plates are available. The design of the gun allows for the installation of extension kits. The SBE 3 series is supplied in a black plastic transport bag.
