The Benelli NOVA 3 pump shotgun has a new design; in particular, the rear and front supports and the trigger guard differ from the previous (Nova 12/89) model. Also in the Nova 3 model, the breech block and the breech block are in one piece. The lock body is made of technopolymer and reinforced with a steel piece. The breechblock is equipped with a provision for mounting a picatinny rail. By pressing the "mag stop" button on the front stock, the cartridge magazine can be emptied without feeding a new magazine, thus allowing safe manoeuvring over obstacles in the terrain, while the gun is still quickly ready for use. In addition, the "mag stop" button allows a different cartridge to be quickly inserted into the magazine. The drop of the butt in relation to the sighting line is 41/62 (drop at comp/heel). The tail drop is not adjustable. The standard length of the rear sight is 360mm and the rear plate is a 2,5cm thick polyurethane soft rear plate, fixed with felt. Optional +1cm and -1cm thick tail plates are available to adjust the trailing edge in the desired direction. The barrel is a 26" long magnum interchoke barrel and the barrel rail is a raised forest rail. The front sight is a red fibre sight. Three internal reducers (*Full, ***Mod and ****IC) are standard. The weapon can also be supplied with an extension magazine. The gun is 12/76 calibre and weighs 3,0kg.
