Kuivalihakundi Beef Jerky Jaloviina combines two Finnish classics: dried meat and the legendary Jaloviina. This beef jerky is made from Finnish beef, seasoned with genuine, original one-star Jaloviina. The result is a coarse, rich and perfectly salty beef jerky, where the flavour of the meat meets the recognisable aroma of Jaloviina.
No expense has been spared on the meat in its production. As much as 2.5 kilograms of fresh beef is used to produce one kilogram of dried beef. During the drying process, a large proportion of the water is removed from the meat, leaving a concentrated blend of beef flavour and protein. The product contains an impressive 56 grams of protein per 100 grams.
As well as Jallu, the seasoning includes gluten-free soya sauce, sugar syrup, salt, garlic and black pepper. The seasoning has been kept deliberately simple so that the most important ingredients take centre stage: proper beef and single-star Jallu.
And whilst Jallu is traditionally served in a glass, this version can be taken with you almost anywhere. The packet fits in your rucksack, car, at the holiday cottage, on a day out or as a snack during the working day. So, if you like the taste of Jallu and dried meat is one of life’s essentials anyway, it’s worth keeping at least a few bags in stock.
The beef used in the jerky is reared and slaughtered in Finland. The product is manufactured at the Kuivalihakundi factory in Jokela, Tuusula.
