The base resistor of the outdoor unit of the air-to-water heat pump Panasonic Aquarea CZ-NE3P, is suitable for the outdoor units of Panasonic's air-to-water heat pumps. The bottom resistor helps in keeping the condensation water of the outdoor unit thawed and is a mandatory accessory for all Monoblock and Split air-to-water heat pumps.
The outdoor unit of the air-to-air heat pump may condense several tens of liters of water during the day , so the condensed water accumulated in the outdoor unit must be directed forward in a controlled manner. Condensation also forms in winter. Condensed water from the outdoor unit is directed in a controlled manner, preferably directly to the sewer pipe, or at least to the rainwater drain.
The Panasonic Aquarea CZ-NE3P bottom resistor keeps the condensate accumulated in the outdoor unit melted. It is a mandatory accessory for all Panasonic air-to-water heat pump models. Make sure that the condensate drain pipe coming from the outdoor unit follows the natural slope of at least 2cm / 1m. In this case, the condensed water runs to the drain according to natural gravity. In addition, it is recommended to put a heating cable in the drainage pipe of the condensate coming from the outdoor unit in case of the coldest weather in winter, so that the water remains thawed despite the frost and travels well to the sewer.
