The lifejacket is designed to help its wearer turn to a safe back position and support the head, keeping the airway above the surface of the water. That's why it's the obvious choice for anyone who doesn't know or can't swim.
All Baltic lifejacket models from newborn to 15 kg have a wider crotch strap that can be attached to two different lengths to ensure a suitable fit. The front of these life jackets is divided into sections to adapt to the shape of the body and allow freedom of movement. The lift of the lifejacket is greater in the front than in the back, which ensures that the lifejacket turns the wearer onto his back into a safe position. The collar of the vest does not participate in turning, but its function is to support the head, keeping the airways above the surface of the water.
