In the FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable cable modem, connection speeds rise to the level of optical fiber, also wirelessly. EuroDOCSIS 3.1 reaches up to 6 gigabit download speed. The 6690 supports N, AC and X level MU-MIMO wireless WiFi connections. WiFi moves data at 1200 Mb/s at the 2.4 GHz frequency and as much as 4800 Mb/s at the 5 GHz frequency, even at the same time. In addition, the modem has a LAN port up to 2.5 gigabit speed and three 1 gigabit LAN ports. The modem also has a USB port for a printer, mass media (such as a hard disk and memory stick) or another USB device.
