This album was originally released in 2009 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Asterix's adventures.
The collection of stories is mainly written by Albert Uderzo, but it also contains parts written by René Goscinny. On the pages of the album, we also peek into the future of Asterix's world, but mainly it's about remembering past adventures, so this album is visited by a legion of old acquaintances from over the years, both heroes and villains.
Even Caesar and Cleopatra honor the anniversary of our favorite warriors with their presence.
This album was Albert Uderzo's last Asterix adventure and from now on the torch of the Gallic warriors has been carried by Jean-Yves Ferri and Didier Conrad.
