Asphalt Patching Compounds

Potmix Primer 600ml Asfaltiliim

Potmix® Asphalt Primer is abonding agent used to increasethe adhesiveness betweenasphalt layers and provide sealingbetween asphalt joints. AsphaltPrimer is ideal when laying newasphalt on top of old worn-outsurfaces or around edges of cutasphalt areas. Instruction of use: clean the surface from excess dirt and dust.Apply the primer by spraying/pooring it from a distance of 10-20cm. Let the primer set for 10-20 minutes for optimaladhesiveness. The area can be dusted with sand after applicationto avoid bitumen stains on vehicle tires or pedestrians.

Potmix BIO 50 20kg asfaltinpaikkausmassa

Potmix® Asphalt Bio 50 is a climate friendly,high-performance asphalt for durable andpermanent repairs of asphalt surfaces. Itsbinder is a unique blend of bitumen and biooil. The product cures under pressure and incontact with moisture. Watering it beforecompaction quickens the curing process —consumption approx. 2 l water per 20 kgmaterial. Traffic can be let immediately ontothe repaired area. Asphalt Bio 50 worksequally well in summer and winter, and is completely VOC/solvent free. It is to bestored in dry conditions. User instructions: prepare the repair area by removing debris and fill a base course ofcompacted sand or gravel. Leave a depth of 1-4 cm for the asphalt — for deeper areasthe asphalt should be compacted in layers. Use Potmix® Asphalt Primer for extraadhesion on smooth and difficult to attach surfaces. Fill the repair area with asphaltand apply water to it. Compress thereafter the asphalt with intermittent pressure. If nocompacting tools are available, traffic can be brought onto the surface to apply thecompacting force.

LaCu 8m asphalt patching tape

Repair tape modified from high-quality bitumen for repairing asphalt cracks. Length: 8m Width: 40mm Thickness: 4mm Adheres tightly when the tape is heated. Contains rubber bitumen; easy and quick to handle and install. Maintains its elasticity well in Nordic, variable weather conditions. When well attached, it makes a watertight joint that is resistant to wear, rain, sun and freeze for years. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Clean the surfaces to be sealed from dust and loose matter as best as possible. Cut the required amount of LaCu tape. Dry the surfaces with a gas flame or with a hot air blower, taking into account the firework safety instructions and regulations. Heat the strip from the side that comes against the crack in the asphalt, so that the strip softens and becomes oily on the surface. Press the tape firmly over the crack. Press and wait a moment. Heat the strip from the top, especially the edge, and press making sure it is firmly attached to the base all the way around. Use thick ones leather gloves. A wooden or metal spatula is handy when shaping the edge of the place. In this case, the tape can be heated to an oily state without staining the gloves. When well attached, the tape makes a watertight connection and resists wear and tear, sun and frost for years. TIP: You can also use Lacu tape for other sealing and repair purposes, as it adheres perfectly to metal and concrete, for example.
