AOT SPIN 500 is a robust and highly adjustable indoor bike designed for users who want a stable riding feel, a wide resistance range and comprehensive workout data at home.
The 11 kg flywheel, quiet belt drive and electronically controlled magnetic resistance provide a smooth pedalling feel. With 32 resistance levels, the same bike can be used for everything from easy recovery sessions to demanding intervals and strength-focused workouts.
The wide resistance range makes it easy to match the workout to your training goal:
- Levels 1–8: light and recovery training
- Levels 9–18: general fitness and weight-management training
- Levels 19–27: cardio and endurance training
- Levels 27–32: demanding intervals and strength-focused training
Electronically controlled magnetic resistance provides smooth, quickly adjustable load without the wearing friction surfaces used by conventional friction-brake systems.
SPIN 500 generates the electricity it needs while you exercise, so no permanent connection to a wall socket is required. This gives you greater freedom when positioning the bike and eliminates the need for a power cable running across the training area. The TFT display shows: resistance, speed, time, distance, cadence, calories and heart rate.
Bluetooth connectivity uses the FTMS protocol, allowing the bike to connect to compatible training applications. Cadence data can be transmitted through FTMS for app-based and virtual training. The saddle height can be adjusted from 825 to 1070 mm, while the saddle provides 95 mm of fore-aft adjustment. Handlebar height can be adjusted from 1053 to 1162 mm, while the effective reach between the saddle and handlebars can be adjusted to approximately 550–720 mm.
The multi-position handlebar also provides several hand positions for endurance riding, spinning and high-intensity training.
SPIN 500 uses 152 mm crank arms. Compared with conventional longer cranks, shorter cranks reduce the range of motion required from the legs. They can facilitate higher cadences and reduce maximum knee and hip flexion at the top of the pedal stroke.
The 187 mm Q-factor provides a stable pedalling stance, particularly during standing efforts and higher-resistance workouts. The bike weighs 41.5 kg and supports users weighing up to 150 kg. Its substantial frame helps keep the bike stable during standing efforts and demanding intervals. At only 484 mm wide, it also occupies relatively little floor space.
The specified operating noise level is approximately 42.9–65.7 dB, depending on resistance and cadence.
