The AOT RUN 500 is a robust and versatile treadmill designed for active home training and light communal use. It combines running, walking, effective hill training, downhill simulation and sled-style strength training in a single machine. A large 52 × 142 cm running surface, speeds of up to 18.8 km/h and a sturdy 109 kg frame ensure a stable workout even at higher speeds. The maximum user weight is 150 kg.
The most notable feature of the RUN 500 is its electronically adjustable incline range of -6 to +46 levels. A negative incline can be used to simulate a downhill run, whilst high incline levels make the machine an effective option for hill walking and developing leg muscle endurance. The high incline also enables effective training at lower speeds – you can get your heart rate up without having to run continuously.
In addition to traditional walking and running, the RUN 500 offers sled, reverse, vibration and downhill functions. The sled function enables Hyrox-style push training, making the machine suitable for strength and functional training as well. 12 pre-set training programmes make it easy to get started and add variety without the need to constantly adjust speed and incline.
The Bluetooth connection uses the FTMS protocol, and the treadmill can be connected to apps such as Zwift, Kinomap and Ypoofit. Virtual workouts and app-based training sessions make training more motivating and offer greater variety.
The LED display shows your speed, incline, time, distance, calories burnt, heart rate and step count. A separate, compatible wireless heart rate belt or heart rate module is required to measure your heart rate.
Zero-gravity shock absorption softens your stride and reduces the impact load on the platform and your joints. The 18 mm MDF running deck and five-layer 1.6 mm running belt provide a stable surface for both walking and running. The running deck is permanently waxed, so it does not need to be oiled regularly under normal use. This reduces the need for maintenance compared to many traditional treadmills.
The handrails, which extend to a height of approximately 1.2 metres, provide good support, particularly during steep hill walking and sledge training.
