When calculating the ideal amount of food for a cat, its age, weight and activity level should always be taken into account.
The following recommended amounts of food can be used as a general guideline:
if a cat weighs 3 kg, it should receive 200 g a day
if a cat weighs 4 kg, it should be given 245 g daily
