Real-time and historical data are also used to calculate temperature, heat index and dew point knowledge, as well as the weather forecast for the next 24 hours. This professional weather station is equipped with a rain gauge for recording rainfall. If you wish, you can set multiple alarms for maximum and minimum values of temperature, humidity and precipitation. The weather station has a memory to store the lowest and highest measured values.
Weather station with app
The Electo WS5200 connects you to your own Wi-Fi network. You can then connect the weather station to one of many online weather platforms, including Weather Underground (Wunderground), ECOWITT, Weather Cloud, WOW and WS View plus. The WS5200 allows you to add the weather station to these networks yourself. Not only can you make your own weather measurements, but you also have access to measurements made by others. Data from all connected global weather stations is used for reliable local weather forecasts. For example, Weather Underground alone has over 250,000 connected weather stations. Thanks to the Internet connection, the date and time are always well synchronized. Above all, this ensures that the unit is always equipped with the latest firmware.
Indoor unit with clear display and screen illumination
In addition to the app, the unit has a clear 12.5 cm / 4.9 inch display that clearly shows measured values and certain historical data. The display is equipped with screen illumination, so it is visible even in the dark. In addition to weather conditions and forecasts, the Alecto WS5200 also displays the date and time. Use the weather station on your bedside table, in a chest of drawers or simply hang it on the wall.
Exclusive wireless outdoor unit
The outdoor unit is equipped with most sensors and can be placed outside - preferably in an open environment - where the sensors are not obstructed by anything. Do not place the unit next to walls, for example, as it may be affected by wind speed, wind direction and temperature. The outdoor sensor shares the registered data wirelessly with the indoor unit and an app that can be used on a smartphone, tablet or computer. The wireless outdoor sensor has a range of 30 meters / 98 feet, although it is greater in open fields without obstructions.
