Weather Underground Weather Station App
WS-5500 Weather Station shares and compares weather data with Weather Underground weather data. Weather Underground is one of the largest and best-known providers of real-time weather data. You may know them from the weather website www.underground.com or from one of the many apps that allow you to read weather forecasts from weather stations around the world, which currently number over 200,000. With the WS-5500, you can now add an additional weather station to the Weather Underground network. So not only can you make your own weather measurements, you can also use measurements from other weather stations.
Absolute weather measurements
TheWS-5500 has a large number of sensors that measure all possible weather factors. This way you always have an idea of UV and solar radiation, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, wind chill, air pressure, outdoor temperature and rainfall. You put the measuring unit outside and don't have to keep returning to the unit to recharge. A solar cell provides the necessary power to the sensors. All data is wirelessly transmitted to your weather station up to 100 metres away. The large indoor color display allows you to read all the measurement data and compare it to the measurement data of others.
Your own application
You are not dependent on the color display. You can access your own weather data and statistics from anywhere in the world through the WunderStation app, and as your weather station you can view, share and compare your data with other Underground weather stations. Within the app, you can design your own dashboards to make your weather forecast as personal and relevant as possible.
