This smoke alarm has a built-in lithium battery that lasts up to 10 years. The optical sensor also lasts just as long, so you can rely on the device to work for years to come. When the battery starts to run out, the alarm will give you a clear warning. The product also comes with a 10-year warranty.
The entire surface of the alarm acts as a large button that can be easily pressed with a brush, for example. The button can be used to test the operation of the device, silence the alarm or reset it. This makes operation easy and safe without the need to climb a ladder.
Installation is simple. The SA300 can be mounted to the ceiling or wall using the supplied mounting plate and mounting hardware. As soon as the alarm is clicked onto the base, it is activated. The best locations are the hallway and staircase, but for maximum safety, install the alarm in any room where a fire could start.
The smoke detector meets the requirements of EN14604:2005/AC:2008. The alarm sound is over 85 dB, so it can be heard with certainty. Its compact size (30 x 120 mm) makes it an unobtrusive but effective safety device.
