This is one of Alecto's most complete walkie-talkie series. Most walkie-talkies have a range of between 3 and 7 kilometers, but the FR300 stands out from other walkie-talkies with a range of up to 10 kilometers. In addition, the FR300 IPX7 radio features VOX control. No hassle with buttons: speak into the microphone and the walkie-talkie turns on automatically.
The FR300 has 16 channels and 38 CTCSS codes. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Controlled Squelch System) is a noise reduction system. It makes it possible to share a radio channel with multiple users without interference. When transmitting via an IPX7 radio, a silent code is sent. Only when the voice code of the transmitting handset matches the voice code of the receiving handset does the receiving handset display the signal. This prevents interference from other transmitting devices communicating on the same channel.
