Use as warm compress:They help to unblock clogged milk ducts and bring relief from mastitis, as well as swollen, overflowing breasts. They should be used immediately before feeding in order to facilitate the flow of milk. They can also be used before or during pumping to reduce pumping time by stimulating faster flow of milk.Gel compresses can be heated in the microwave. Use cold: the compresses bring relief to sore and swollen breasts during periods of fullness or breast inflammation. Compresses can be prevented from moving by placing them inside the bra.
