Ceramic filter for the ADWASYS OPTIWA-01 faucet filter. Filtration density 0.1µm. The ceramic filter comprises six different filtration and water quality-enhancing elements. Ceramic shell filter 0.1µm filters out most impurities, such as rust, dissolved particles, and pathogens. Activated carbon granules remove chlorine and impurities, additionally eliminating unpleasant odors and tastes from the water. Mineral granules release health-beneficial minerals into the water and prevent bacterial growth. Alkaline granules balance the water's pH and remove chlorine. Calcium crystals remove carcinogens, rust, and other impurities. Stainless steel sieve isolates impurities and particles in the water. The filter is replaced when water flow is restricted. The ceramic filter can be rejuvenated by rinsing it with hot water and scrubbing the surface clean, for example, with a dish brush 2-3 times before replacing it with a new filter cartridge. Filter replacement interval: 2-6 months depending on usage and water quality.
