An adjustable backrest is an inexpensive way to raise the back of the bed. The backrest can be mechanically adjusted to six different positions. The most vertical position is almost straight 80° and the most lying position is 25°.
Elevating the back in bed facilitates e.g. eating, reading and watching TV in bed. A slightly raised lying position also makes breathing easier. The backrest is collapsible and fits, for example, under the bed when it is not needed.
