Care instructions: Wash inside out at 40°C using wool shampoo. Stretch back into shape and hang to dry. Remember to air it out after use. Wool is a naturally antibacterial material. Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. Contains no harmful chemicals.
DesignWool features traditional Jacquard knitting. Extremely soft 210 g merino wool, which is also available in the WarmWool range. The material is highly durable and comfortable, and provides good thermal insulation.
The Marius pattern was originally designed by the Norwegian Unn Søiland in 1953. The pattern is named after the Norwegian war hero, alpine skier and actor, Marius Eriksen. It first appeared on a hand-knitted woollen jumper worn by Marius Eriksen on the cover of a craft magazine. The pattern became hugely popular, the most widely used design in Norway, and is still known as ‘Marius’. The pattern represents the sporty outdoor lifestyle and traditions typical of Norwegians. Today, the pattern is a Norwegian icon.
