In 5 Towers, you compete to build the tallest towers in the city! You get cards if you agree to take more of them than others. However, you can only build one tower of each type, so be careful not to take too many cards at once to make it harder for yourself!
Each round, 5 cards are auctioned off to act as building blocks for your towers. The winner of the auction is the one who agrees to take most of these cards, and must add the cards to their towers. But why not just take all the cards? Because you can only build one tower of each type, and the values of the cards must decrease as you build the tower, so taking too many cards will hurt your chances of building in the future. When the last brick is laid, the player with the most points wins. Each card you build into a tower is worth one point. If the tower also has a roof, its cards are worth two points. In addition, the cards on your tallest tower are worth one extra point, but any cards you take down will be worth minus points.
5 Towers is a handy size to slip into your bag for trips or nights out, easy to teach and quick to play!
