To open the Yale Doorman L3 door lock, you can use a code, mobile phone or access key. The lock also has an automatic unlocking feature* that detects when you approach the door with your phone and opens the lock for you. No more wondering if the door was locked - the Yale Doorman L3 automatic lock will take care of locking the door for you. If you wish, you can set the locking delay yourself. You can even stop by the mailbox to pick up the morning paper. The lock's built-in burglar alarm alerts you to any attempted break-in. The Yale Doorman L3 door lock has an inside push button with an opening switch that is pressed to the bottom when the door is opened. This feature can be used to prevent jumping pets from opening the door. You can distribute a temporary access code or virtual key to the person who needs it using your phone. This makes it convenient for dog walkers and guests to get in when they need to. Remote control of the lock is also available via the Yale ConnectX Wi-Fi Bridge accessory.
