Soda blasting is a subtle and effective surface treatment method. The blowing agent used is NaHCO3, i.e. baking soda. A compressed air soda blower removes paint, soot, limescale, loose rust, etc. impurities just like a sandblaster, but does not damage the original surface. Does not heat or stretch the sheet at all, leaving the sheet's original passivation intact.
Suitable applications include: Cars and other vehicles, vehicle rims, garden furniture, furniture to be restored, aluminum, wood, fiberglass and steel boats, tiles, tile joints outdoors (for example swimming pools). Does not damage glass surfaces, plastic or rubber.
You also need a compressor with sufficient pressure output and suitable blowing material (e.g. Timco 10 kg blowing soda 101765901). Otherwise, the package includes everything you need to get started.
