STOCK
The ergonomics of all Sako 90 stocks are designed to support an optimal shooting position in a hunting situation. Excellent balance and smooth use of the lock ensure fast, straightforward and precise work.
BARREL
Sako 90 pipes are made respecting Sako's traditions, passion and craftsmanship. The blanks are drilled, honed, cold forged, finished, and finally the quality is verified by human eyes. The rifling pitches are selected for each caliber to optimize accuracy and bullet performance. Sako 90 barrels, both blackened and stainless, have a non-reflective finish.
FRAME AND LOCK
The Sako 90 production line has five action sizes, which ensures optimal and reliable operation for all calibers. The three-shouldered lock of the Sako 90 rifle picks up the cartridge from the magazine and uses push-feed technology to feed the cartridge into the cartridge chamber. The crank of the lock is removable and can be positioned in a natural position, enabling quick and safe use of the lock.
Binocular attachment with either Optilock (17 mm) or Picatinny system, depending on the model.
EXTRACTION AND EJECTION
In the Sako 90 rifle, the extraction is carried out with the help of a hardened extraction claw. Ejection, on the other hand, takes place with plungers.
MAGAZINE
Sako 90 magazines are double-lined and top-loading. The magazine cover is made of stainless steel and the bridge and the base of the magazine are made of aluminum. The magazine can't accidentally fall out, but the safety lock makes sure that the magazine stays with you at all times.
SAFETY
A three-position safety lock locks the trigger and the lock handle and prevents forward movement of the firing pin. With the lock release, the handle can be opened and the cartridge removed from the chamber, keeping the weapon secured at all times.
FIRING MECHANISM
The new Sako 90 trigger is fully adjustable without disassembling the gun. The adjustment of the trigger pressure (1-2 kg) takes place through the trigger arc and the position of the trigger is also adjustable. Sensitizer is available for selected models. All Sako 90 guns are equipped with a metal trigger guard that protects the trigger and guarantees safety.
