The exceptionally lightweight construction of this fly makes it slow-sinking and responsive. This lightness allows the lure to take longer than normal to return to the bottom of the hole, which also helps the lure to stay in motion for longer.
The lure's light attracts utei irons from a long distance and is often the only way to get the fish's attention, especially in the twilight hours of dusk.
The lure is supplied with a quality single-branch hook. The catching power can often be increased by replacing the hook with either a mormyska or a fly hook.
