With the Makita DG002GZ XGT earthmover with wide auxiliary handles, you can make holes in the ground quickly and easily. The earthmover is ideal for making holes in the ground for posts and planting, for example. The combination of an XGT 40 V battery and a carbon-free motor provides the power to get the job done. The maximum torque is 55/136 Nm (2 gears/1 gear).

With Makita's DG002GZ cordless excavator, drilling holes in the ground is quick and easy. With a hip support and sturdy handles, the machine provides a firm grip. Two speed ranges are available depending on the application.
Accessories are available for Makita earthmovers in diameters of 50, 60, 80, 100, 150 and 200 mm. 200 mm is recommended for use in soft sand or sandy soil, while smaller diameters are also suitable for coarser soil. The machine is equipped with a separate switch for reversing direction, so that the auger can be easily disengaged from the ground, even when making holes in tough soil such as clay. The mechanical safety switch protects both the machine and the operator.
The weight of the machine when ready to use, without the auger and with a 5.0 Ah battery, is 8.1 kg.
