The Lorpen Liner Merino ECO is a unisex base layer that is suitable for any season, but is a particularly good choice as a base layer for hard frosts. An innovative, extremely light and thin sports sock made with natural merino wool for good thermal insulation.
Lorpen Liner Merino ECO is designed to be worn on its own, or combined with another sock in the freezing winter temperatures. It provides adequate warmth, but allows the skin to breathe and also removes moisture from the foot. The main fibres of the technical sock are made from recycled fibres and are therefore a very ecological choice for a technical sock. Merino wool is a finely woven and soft wool with a hydrophilic and breathable core. The fine micron diameter ensures that the fibre feels soft and comfortable against the skin, making these socks really comfortable to wear even under other socks.
Lorpe socks use only mulesing-free wool. The socks also feature recycled nylon. It comes from fishing nets that have reached the end of their lifespan for the fishing industry. Lycra®, on the other hand, is a synthetic elastane fibre that can stretch up to six times its length and return to its original state, time after time. This allows the sock to keep its shape well from one use to the next.
