Durable, comfortable and full of functions - despite its rather modest exterior, Kajka is an advanced hiking bike in the classic Fjällräven spirit. Now this bike has been updated with refined, even better functions and a world-unique, reform-minded wooden frame whose environmental impact is significantly lower without compromising strength and functionality. The carrying system is designed so that it lightens the load even when carrying very heavy items, and the user-friendly Perfect Fit Adjustment System is easy to adjust to fit different bodies by adjusting both the back length and the width between the shoulder straps. The generously sized hip belt guarantees excellent carrying comfort during long hiking days.
The main compartment can be opened from the top and has a snow lock, a large vertical opening in the front and an opening in the bottom, which makes it easy to see the contents. The main compartment can be divided into an upper and a lower part, in which case the lower part has a Wet/Dry mode, which keeps wet and dirty equipment separate from other items. There are practical zippered pockets on the cover, sides and hip belt. The cover can be removed and can be used as a waist or chest bag when you want to keep valuables in a particularly safe place. There are two compression straps on each side, to which thin sticks can be attached, so that the compression is even and effective without blocking the openings of the side pockets. There are fasteners on the cover and the bottom of the frame. The chest strap has a safety whistle and the chest includes a rain cover with a reflective print.
Kajka has received praise from hikers all over the world and even from the industry press. Among other things, the Swedish outdoor magazine Utemagasinet chose it as the product of the year in 2009 and it won the Finnish Retki magazine's big ring test in 2011.
