This ultralight independent mosquito net was designed by Dan Spence and Nico Piercy. This independent mosquito net does not contain any zippers, this feature substantially reduces its weight. Instead of zippers, this hammock mosquito net uses your weight (when you're inside the hammock) and a rubber band to prevent mosquitoes from entering the hammock.
Using the DD Hammock superLight mosquito net is easy and fast. The product includes a lanyard. This rope should be attached to the ropes of your hammock, and thread it through the mosquito net - this rope will make room above the hammock and you. The product also contains a small pocket that is attached to the fastening rope, the pocket can also be left unattached.
