Composting is smart

Composting is a smart and environmentally friendly way to recycle bio-waste. With modern composters, composting is easy and tidy. It’s also useful: your reward is compost soil. If you haven’t been excited about composting yet, now is a great time to start!

What kind of composter might you need? Once you know your needs, you can easily explore different options in our online store under the category composting and dry toilets. There are many types of composters, so it’s worth comparing options before choosing your own.

The technology inside the composter ensures fast and excellent composting, even in cold weather. When used correctly, the process can keep going down to -25 °C. Composters have a strong base, and their sides promote airflow into the composting process. Our high-quality composters are stable and tightly sealed. They are rainproof and so airtight that they prevent pests from getting into the composter.

Composters, dry toilets and bulking agents online

In addition to composters, you’ll also find dry toilets and accessories, as well as the bulking agents needed for composting. Compost and outhouse bulking material is made from crushed, dry and clean conifer bark and peat. Regular use helps keep the compost mass suitably airy and ensures odourless, efficient composting.

So how do you use bulking material? The instructions are simple. For household bio-waste, cover the waste with a thin layer of bulking agent. A suitable amount is often about half of the volume of household waste added to the composter. Increase the amount if the compost is smelly and wet. For dry toilet waste, add about 2–5 decilitres after each toilet visit. For garden bio-waste, add bulking agent in layers and then water with water if the compost is dry.

Now that you know how to use bulking material, all you need are the supplies. You can easily and affordably order composters, dry toilets and accessories, as well as different bulking agents, from our online store. Our range includes, among other things, rapid composters, high-performance composters, kitchen composters, home composters, cottage composters, garden composters and much more. Welcome to explore!
