Set includes 6 pieces of buckled cords. Each lanyard has a tightening buckle which is tightened by pulling on the lanyard / puller. These lanyards are the same as those supplied with the Bushmen Ultralight Tarp.
Each lanyard has a buckle attached, the tension of which can be adjusted with one hand by pulling the lanyard. Attach the hook to the tarp's attachment loop and with the other end wedged to the ground, pull on the free end of the cord to tighten the cord. The tightening buckle will only work when the cord is correctly inserted into the buckle.
There is a small puller at the end of each cord to prevent the cord from slipping out of the buckle. The small puller also makes it easier to see where to pull to tighten the cord. Tightening the drawstring is easier with gloves on.
The tension is loosened by pulling on the cord with the puller/stopper or by loosening the tension by turning the buckle.
The other end has a buckle with a hook. This hook allows you to form a loop by attaching the hook to the cord attached to the buckle. You can also attach the hook directly to the loop of string, if it is just thin enough to fit past the mouth of the hook.
