With the wireless charging case, charging is easy by just placing the AirPods in the case and placing it on a compatible charging pad. You can see from the LED light on the front of the case that the AirPods are charging. When you don't have a charging mat available, you can charge using the Lightning port. The wireless charging case works with all generations of AirPods and can be charged multiple times.
